Mental Health OT / Occupational Therapy
Mental health can impact far more than how someone feels – it can affect routines, motivation, confidence, relationships, work, self-care, organisation, and the ability to manage everyday life.
Mental Health OT’s (Occupational Therapists) focus on understanding these challenges with consideration of a person’s individual experiences, environments, daily demands and how their nervous system regulates.
We work collaboratively with people to build practical strategies that support functioning, recovery, wellbeing, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Our approach
We recognise that mental health recovery is rarely linear, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to understand each person’s strengths, barriers, goals, and lived experience.
Our clinicians use evidence-based and recovery-oriented approaches tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, strengths, and circumstances.
Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches including occupational therapy, trauma-informed practice, sensory modulation, CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies, motivational interviewing, and recovery-oriented care.
Above all, we aim to provide support that is human, respectful, and grounded in meaningful everyday life
